Heyyyy! It’s meeeee – Ellieeeee!

Welcome back my fellow bloggers, friends and family 💞 (I mean, you are all part of the fam here!) Today, as promised and talked about on several occasions, I have for you my:

Tropical Holiday Journal!Last year, we went on holiday to my favourite places in Queensland – Noosa and Gold Coast! I have also done my What’s In My Travel Bag  that is a part of this series and….umm * realises has only done 1 post* 😶🙃 and this one! So if you are interested in seeing some cool photography and to see what the beautiful tropical Australia looks like (at it’s best and worst lol) keep scrolling away! *swoooooshhssss*

Flight : Monday 9th ✈️

So first we left home at 2:30pm and drove to the airport with is about 30m away. Buuuuut….when we got to the airport, we realised we forgot our keys that had our bag lock keys, car keys and house keys! So my Poppa kindly brang them up for us *wipes forehead from stress*😅

So now we had checked in and gone through security, we could finally go to the QANTAS CLUB for some yummy food and to wait for out flight boarding…..buuuut (oh great here we go again) Mum wasn’t allowed in because she wore thongs (flip flops as you British peeps like to call them) and the QANTAS CLUB is very strict on proper clothing! 😂

We finally boarded our plane and took off for QUEENSLAND! Then we arrived in the Brisbane Airport, got our fabulous rental car (pretty niceee), did a Macca’s Run and drove alllllll the way to Miami/Gold Coast and checked in at our favourite go-to accommodation, THE GRANDE FLORIDA!  GOLD COAST – highlightsDay 1: Tuesday 10th – White Water World

The first day in Gold Coast was so fun and probably the best weather day we had. yep. we had some pretty wet weather which was very unusual for October…GLOBAL WARMING *i said nothingggg* Sooooo we went for a morning swim in a hidden away pool!

It was 35 degress (c) which feels like 38 degrees from the humidty so we decided to go to white water world! It is a massive water park in Queensland and there are so many scary and exciting rides! My favourite ride was the ‘Green Room’ 💚 because you were literally vertical up the side of the tall tube! There is also a wave pool that creates it’s own waves so you can body surf them!

Day 4: Friday 14th – Dream World

In the moring, it was finally sunny (we had a lot of cloudy weather) and I was soooo happy! Mum, Dad and I decided to go for a walk along Miami Beach and it was perfect shorts and t-shirt weather!

Then we decided as the weather was good that we would go to Dream World which is our absolute favourite Theme Park. Last time we were there, my little brother Ollie missed out on the rides because he had a really bad ear infection! 😕 Poor Ollie man!

I did almost all of the 9 Thrill Rides but I didn’t do the giant drop because you NEVER know when it will drop! The scariest ride I did was:

THE BUZZ-SAW! 😳And man it is terrifying,😮 but I did it! After many hesitations and procrastination….he…he…oooooh.

Day 5: Saturday 15th – Starbucks and Storms

When we said that we were going to Queensland, I was super excited not because it’s Queensland (well of course I was) but I knew that they had STARBUCKS there! There used to be one where I live but it shut down. 😖 This day was also extremely rainy *drowns in puddle* *swims out fine* so when we were drinking our iced drinks, it was bucketing down!

We also went for another beach walk but soon had to leave because a brewing storm almost caught us!

Then when we got back, we packed our bags ready for our big road trip to Noosa! Get ready for a Part 2….
